Once in a while, I dust off the moth balls and go back to my roots, finding inspiration and challenge as an actor. Golda's Balcony has been a part of my life since 2009 when I was invited to play the great lady in a production produced and directed by Theatre Winter Haven's Norman Small. In October of 2012 this production swept the Florida Theatre Conference awards, including Best Show and Best Actress honors. In March, 2013, Golda's Balcony swept the Southeastern Theatre Conference AACT Festival entries to pick up 7 awards, including Best Show, Best Director and Best Actress. In June of 2013 Golda's Balcony earned Best Actress honors at the AACT National Festival in Carmel, Indiana. She then went across the pond, appearing at the U.S. Army Play Festival in Kaiserslautern, Germany in October of 2013. It was quite a journey with this remarkable woman. The opportunity to work on William Gibson’s amazing script for such a lengthy period of time was humbling, terrifying and rich.
